What makes you different?
I’m very passionate, focused and dedicated in what I do. Tennis has given me a lot as a person such as independence and motivation and given me the skills to structure my time for both my sport, school and my social life. I’m hardworking and will do anything to reach my goals. I’ve been accepted as a Team Danmark student at the best high school for athletes in Denmark, which has taught me to be even more structured and disciplined about my time. I’m very ambitious and would like to use my time in college to reach my full potential both as an athlete and academic. I’m a very reliable and loyal person and a team player both on and off court. I love to travel, meet new people and face challenges.
Why do you want to compete in college?
To compete in college has always been one of my goals. For me college in the US is the best opportunity to study and play tennis on a high level. As a young tennis player I travelled a lot and always loved it. For several years I have dreamt of going to play college tennis on a high level. I have now several teammates who have graduated from different colleges in the US and they have all encouraged me to take on this great opportunity. I believe that going to college would help me achieve my goals in both tennis and academically.
I want to graduate college with a good degree, preferably in business and would like to have the opportunity to get a masters degree later on. Even though I love to study, I want to have the opportunity to keep on developing my tennis at the same time and I believe that playing college tennis in the US will give me the best opportunity. I love the combination of mixing the individual sport with the social team experience, and I’m known to be a person who is a very loyal team player and somebody who likes to initiate social events connected to the team and the sport.
Tennis and life Goals?
I believe that playing college tennis would help me reach my full potential, also academically. I have always competed in the highest level in Denmark and wish to continue that wherever I go. I believe that pursuing your dream is very important and I’m sure that studying in college in the US would let me reach my fullest potential in order to see if it can take me to a professional career first in tennis later in my professional life.
