3 Reasons you won’t be Recruited
Many recruits make the mistake of thinking they only have to be good athletes to get recruited. In reality being a good athlete may not be enough to be recruited. Many scouts not only look for talent on the field, but behavior off the field and in the classroom.
- Bad grades Just like your player stats your grades become all important when it comes to college recruiting. Grades determine whether or not you will be eligible to play the upcoming season. If you can’t maintant a 2.3 you have to take a knee.
- Poor character Unlike high school you won’t find students fighting in the hallways at college or teammates being disrespectful to coaches and teachers. That kind of behavior does not exist out side the high school campus. If you have a history of bad behavior on or off the field coaches will find out during the recruitment process.
- Lack of exposure The #1 reason athletes are not recruited out of high school is because of a lack of exposure. You can fix this by creating an athletic recruiting profile with Athletes USA. Our athletes are exposed to over 20,000 coaches.
