About Alicia Barbaroux
I have been playing tennis since I was 6 years old and over the years I have realized it’s a big passion and I can’t live without it.
My objective is to combine my academics studies and my passion. With tennis I have learned that you do not get good results without hard work.
I’m ready to do my best for my team. I’m very serious, ambitious and a perfectionist too.
Going to the USA would allow me to increase both my tennis and physical level. I think it’s a good experience to discover a new way of playing and also new people who come from other countries. It would be a new opportunity which would open many doors in the future for me.
Date of birth: 18/06/1997
2013 : won regional (Provence) senior championship
What makes you different?
I’m a serious girl and I like to do things well so I work hard for them.
I’m always attentive to what I’m told, I listen to advice and I try to apply it afterwards.
I’m also very friendly and I love to laugh with my friends!
I’m very sportive and I’m interested in all sports. I love watching sporting events like the Olympics games for example.
Why do you want to compete in college?
I want to compete at an American college so that I can play and study. In France it’s difficult to do the same. Also, I want to discover other mentalities different from France and other ways to play.
I want to graduate in the field of Sciences so I can become an engineer on day.
Tennis and life Goals?
My tennis goals are to increase my level, correct some flaws and go as far as possible with my team.
I think this experience can make me grow mentally. I want to meet new people and have new experiences.
